One hundred and twenty years ago, unknown makers assembled 150 names to create a red and white quilt in Melrose, Massachusetts. While the ink is still visible, their stories blend into history as Melrose continues to change. These six fiber artists use 21st century perspective and techniques, creating stitched connections to the past, leaving traces for future generations to consider.
See the Stitched Connections exhibit at the Beebe Estate in Melrose on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm from December 1 to 22, 2018.
You are cordially invited to the Exhibit reception on December 7, 2018 from 7pm to 9pm.
